The Colorado Avalanche will be honoring one of their former members this season.

A report from the Associated Press has revealed that former Stanley Cup Champion Milan Hejduk will have his jersey raised to the rafters in the Pepsi Center to honor his many years of service.

Hejduk, who was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in in the 1994 National Hockey League Entry Draft, played his entire NHL career as a member of the Colorado Avalanche appearing in over 1000 games for them.

The right-winger put up impressive career numbers as well recording 375 goals and 408 assists for a total of 805 points, again all as a member of the Avalanche. 

His jersey is set to be retired on the 6th of January 2018.
