The Vegas Golden Knights take on the Arizona Coyotes tonight, and will likely have to do so without one of their top scoring wingers.

As mentioned by Steve Carp of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Perron suffered an upper-body injury in Friday night's win against the San Jose Sharks and is listed as day-to-day.

He hasn't officially been ruled out of tonight's contest but all signs point to him sitting this one out.

The injury likely occurred after taking a high hit from Sharks' Timo Meier.

The Coyotes are winners of 4 of their last 5 - finally showing a glimpse of the potential they were thought to have going into this season.

Vegas continues to lead their division, with a dominant 14-6-1 record. Perron, for his part, has an impressive 19 points in 21 games and is on pace for the best season of his career.
