Report: Bergevin, more than willing to take risks!

The Montreal Canadiens are taking on the Buffalo Sabres tonight in their season opener, and GM Marc Bergevin was looking to make a few things clear prior to their first game.

On the air of 91,9 Sports in Montreal, Bergevin revealed that he is willing to take risks to land impactful players. He used the Jonathan Drouin trade as an exemple.

He went on to say that though he does discuss with Claude Julien and the coaching staff before making any moves, he remains the one in charge.

He finally mentioned that he trust the defensive core he has in place and strongly believes that forward Alex Galchenyuk is ready for the season and will give the fans what they are looking for.
