Report: Biznasty back in the NHL this season?
Keystone Press.

He's only ever appeared in 202 National Hockey League games since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, and at no point has he ever been considered an elite player, but there is little doubt that Paul "Biznasty" Bissonnette is one of the most beloved personalities in and around the league.

That's why when Bissonnette, who has not played in the National Hockey League since the 2013-2014 season, was offered a professional tryout with the Los Angeles Kings it's made headlines, and despite the fact that he will bring relatively little even if he does make the team, it has fans in that market very excited.

While it's been Bissonnette's social media presence that has kept him relevant since his departure from the NHL, it's likely his performance with the King's farm club the Ontario Reign last season, as well as his willingness to re-sign with them this season, that earned him this PTO.

This by no means guarantees that he will be back in the NHL this season, but he has an opportunity here, and now we will see if he can make it count.
