The Detroit Red Wings need a jolt up front and head coach Jeff Blashill may have found the solution to the team's woes.

The Red Wings had 4 wins through their first 5 games, but have since dropped 6 straight.

The team boasts a middling offense - scoring 29 goals through 11 games. That's a number that must increase if the team wants to get back to its winning ways.

As nice as it is that Mike Green is scoring at a point per game pace, it isn't ideal that out of all the talent on the team, he's the one leading the team in points with 11.

Tomas Tatar and Gustav Nyquist are lagging behind with 5 points in 11 games - Andreas Athanasiou has only played 1 game so far and will obviously need a bit of time to get into the swing of things. That line has the potential to be a serious threat as they build chemistry together.
