The Toronto Maple Leafs have to tough problem to solve ahead...

Forward Tyler Bozak is coming off a career-year in the National Hockey League, having recorded 18 goals and 55 points, plus another four points in Toronto’s six-game post-season series loss to the Washington Capitals.

The 31-year-old is set to become one of the most coveted unrestricted free agents this summer. He is part of a group led by New York Islanders' John Tavares, St. Louis Blues' Paul Stastny, Calgary Flames' Mikael Backlund and Ottawa Senators' Kyle Turris, all under the age of 33. Teams will be interested. Especially now, that Luke Fox has reported that no contract extensions talks have started with Leafs' management.

The forward has expressed the desire to remain with the Canadian club, but the Leafs will have to deal with several contract extensions to hand out. Stars Auston Matthews, William Nylander and Mitch Marner are all expecting raises and lengthy deals, which could cost Bozak.

Bozak is focused on the upcoming season, where he will be able to prove his worth to management.
