The Boston Bruins will not only be without Zac Rinaldo to start the season as a result of his five game suspension, but now it sounds like he won't be a participant in training camp either.

According to a report from Bruins insider Joe Haggerty the Bruins cheap-shot artist is currently dealing with an injury and will be at the very least limited in training camp. Bruins general manager Don Sweeney has confirmed that Rinaldo is “nursing a lower body injury.” Sweeney informed Haggerty that Rinaldo will miss "at least" the start of camp, but he could be a participant in the preseason despite his suspension should he be healthy enough to go.

Rinaldo has largely been a big disappointment for the Bruins sine being acquired for a third round draft pick from the Flyers' and there were some openly question whether or not he should even be on the Bruins NHL roster this season. His injury certainly won't help his preparation for this season, and his five game suspension will give him a delayed start to the season even if healthy, so one has to wonder how much he will be able to contribute at the NHL level.

Of course the big hope at the end of the day is that Rinaldo can avoid being a liability for his team.
