Report: Bruins have made a minor trade.

It appears the Bruins after failing to make any major deals at the deadline, much to the disappointment of a large segment of their fan base, are continuing to make minor deals as they continue to look to the future.

According to a report from Bruins insider Mark Diver of the Providence Journal the Bruins have traded one of their prospects, center Zack Phillips, to the St. Louis Blues. It's unclear at this time what the Bruins will receive in return, Diver has simply reported that they will receive "future considerations."

While Phillips is certainly not a household name in the NHL, having spent the entirerity of his career in the American Hockey League and most recently in the East Coast Hockey League, he is a former 1st round draft pick. He was drafted 28th overall back in 2011 by the Minnesota Wild, and has bounce around in the minors ever since.
