The Boston Bruins announced they have assigned two new players to the Providence Bruins of the AHL. Forward Ryan Fitzgerald and defenseman Zachary Lauzon will both report to the affiliate team’s training camp. 

Fitzgerald, 22, was drafted 120th overall in 2013. He played 152 games at Boston College (NCAA), registering 132 points. Last season, he played the last eight regular season games with the Providence Bruins, and an other 13 games in playoffs, registering seven points.

Lauzon, 20, was drafted 52nd overall by Boston in 2015. He will begin his pro career this season, after he spent four seasons with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (QMJHL). In 231 games (regular season and playoffs), the defenseman registered 156 points.
