Report: Coach Maurice confirms the worst for Morrissey
Ouch… trade deadline do-over?

Winnipeg Jets head coach Paul Maurice confirmed the worst when discussing the health of defenseman Josh Morrissey this morning and told reporters that the blueliner will be out of the lineup for at least another month. The Jets are hopeful that Morrissey can return to the lineup in April.
This, according to a report from Jets insider Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun:
Ouch… that hurts. The Jets made six moves yesterday ahead of the NHL’s trade deadline but only managed to pick up two depth blue liners in Nathan Bealieau and Bogdan Kiselevich. Obviously neither defender is capable of filling Morrissey’s shoes (skates), so we’re thinking Kevin Cheveldayoff may want a do-over?
