The Chicago Blackhawks have taken on six new rookies who have been freshly integrated into the roster for the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.
It is difficult for rookies to find their place in the NHL especially when they are surrounded by some of the names they looked up to watching hockey all these years.
The Blackhawks rookies feature players such as Ryan Hartman, Vincent Hinostroza, Tyler Motte, Nick Schmaltz on offense and we have Gustav Forsling and Michal Kempny on defense.
Most of the new players have been making great impressions with some slow starts from player such as Hinostroza and Schmaltz.
When asked which rookie players have earned the trust of head coach Joel Quenneville the coach mentioned Gustav Forsling and Tyler Motte.
It is a big deal and a great reassurance for rookie players to receive any kind of praise from their coach especially from coach Q.
Let us hope that these rookie players can help push the team forward towards the another shot at the Stanley Cup.
