There could be some new faces up front for the defending Stanley Cup champions this year. It was no secret that the Pens were looking for a solution for their gap in the middle on their third line. We believe that the call has been answered.

Forward Greg Mckegg who was recently signed by the Pens in the off season might finally have a chance to be a main stay in the NHL. Mckegg was drafted 62nd overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2010 and was up and down from the AHL with the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning the last few years. He has put up consistent points in the AHL including a 47 point season with the Toronto Marlies in 2014. He could easily start the year off on the third line.
