Heading into the final year of their four year, $28 million deals signed in 2013 Vancouver Canucks legends Henrik and Daniel Sedin have heard all the speculation about their NHL future. So, what do they think? What’s the plan? Retire in Vancouver after this upcoming season? Sign an extension? Chase a Stanley Cup with a contender?

Well, Daniel revealed plans for both himself and his brother today when he joined Sportsnet 650’s Satiar Shah and Jawn Jang, saying that the plan is to retire as Vancouver Canucks. When exactly that will be, who knows?

What do you think of this, Canucks fans? While it may be hard to watch the twins leave Vancouver, wouldn’t a bounty of draft picks and prospects make it worthwhile? Especially if you consider the current state of the franchise. Regardless, it looks like the twins, for better or worse, aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
