Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Dmytro Timashov is having a good season so far in the AHL, and this could earn him a call up with the big team pretty soon! The 21-year old forward, drafted 125th by the Leafs in 2015, scored eight goals and added seven assists for 15 points in 23 games played so far with the Marlies.

Last year, the Kirovograd, Ukraine native registered 24 points in 63 games played in his first professional hockey season. He didn't register a point in six playoff games.

Timashov produced at a high pace over two seasons played in the QMJHL with the Quebec Remparts and the Shawinigan Cataractes, where he registered 221 points in 166 games played (regular season and playoffs included).

What do you think, Leafs fans? Do you think Timashov will play in the NHL this season?
