The Calgary Flames announced yesterday that they have reduced their training camp roster by seven players. Forwards Austin Carroll and Andrew Mangiapane, defensemen Josh Healey, Oliver Kylington, Adam Ollas Mattson and Colby Robak and goaltender Tyler Parsons were all assigned to the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League.

Only Robak and Kylington have NHL experience, as Robak played 47 games with the Florida Panthers and the Anaheim Ducks, registering four assists. Kylington, a 20-year-old second round pick (60th overall) in 2015, played one game with the Flames two years ago, without registering a point.

There is still 40 players at the training camp: 26 forwards, 10 defensemen and four goalies.
