The Philadelphia Flyers' did not make any spectacular moves during free agency this summer, and for fans who have come to appreciate the patience of general manager Ron Hextall when it comes to leading this team, it came as little surprise.

Despite their lack of major signings at the National Hockey League level, the Flyers' have managed to get some free agent signings under their belt, and on Monday they added one more, this time from the Kontinental Hockey League, adding free agent forward  Roman Lyubimov.

Lyubimov is coming off his best season as a KHL forward, putting up 7 goals and 7 assists in 52 games this season for CSKA Moscow, and finishing with a positive differential of 9 on the season. The Flyers will be getting a 24 year old forward who's career is on the upswing, and despite his young age, he will bring six years of professional hockey experience from the KHL.

General manager Ron Hextall confirmed the announcement on Monday making it official.
