Report: Flyers have am interesting offer on the table for one of their defensemen.

The Flyers have a very interesting decision make regarding one of their of their defensemen, and incidentally it also makes general manager Rob Hextall look like a genius. TSN hockey insider Bob McKenzie revealed on Monday that the Philadelphia Flyers have received an offer of two second round draft choices for the services of Radko Gudas ,who is a restricted free agent at the end of this season.

Gudas was acquired by the Flyers in the trade that sent former Flyer Braydon Coburn to Tampa Bay, Gudas came back the other way along with a first round draft choice and a a third round draft choice. Obviously if the Flyers were to make a trade of this nature, Ron Hextall could have effectively traded Braydon Coburn for four draft picks, a first, two seconds and a third.

The Flyers must now decide if retaining Gudas as a restricted free agent outweighs the long term value of multiple draft picks.
