Report: Flyers' rookie has been giving Andrew MacDonald directions
Keystone Press

Robert Hagg has only played one career NHL game. That hasn't stopped the Flyers' rookie from giving advice to veteran Philadelphia rearguard Andrew MacDonald.

According to someone who sits near the Flyers' shoot-once blueline, Robert Hagg was barking directions to MacDonald during one of the team's preseason games earlier this week.

And at that moment, Robert Hagg was most Philadelphia Flyers fans.

All three of the Flyers' rookie blueliners (Hagg, Sam Morin, Travis Sanheim) have really impressed during training camp, so there has been discussion that they could all make the club, while the veteran MacDonald gets sent down to the AHL.
