An impressive career to say the least.

According to multiple online reports, former Vancouver Canucks and San Jose Sharks forward Jannik Hansen is retiring at 33 years of age.

After just one season in the KHL, in which Hansen managed just seven goals and 20 points with CSKA Moscow, the veteran winger is hanging up the skates for good.

Hansen spent the past season and a half with the San Jose Sharks, but never really found a groove with the team. Most NHL fans will remember him from his years with the Vancouver Canucks, where he put up 22 goals and 38 points during a career season in 2015-16. Hansen, of course, was a longtime Canuck and established a pretty good career for a guy who was taken in the 9th round (287th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

The Danish winger finishes his career with 109 career goals and 256 career points in 626 career NHL games.
