Report: Former NHL coach meeting with Las Vegas management this week!

We have at least one concrete candidate to become the first ever head coach in the history of the National Hockey League's franchise in Las Vegas.

New York Islanders insider Arthur Staple of Newsday is now reporting that former Islanders head coach Jack Capuano is in Las Vegas this week and the purpose of his visit is to meet with the management team behind the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

It's an interesting move by the Golden Knights, especially since Capuano was widely derided by pundits and focused on as one of the reasons for the Islanders lack of success this season.

This does not by any means indicate that Capuano has landed the job in Vegas, but it would at least seem to indicate that he is among the candidates being considered for the job.
