Report: former NHL coach takes over as GM

The 2016-17 season might be a very busy one for Canadian head coach Mike Keenan.

The former National Hockey League head coach has been assigned the general manager duties of the Kunlun Red Stars in the KHL, on Tuesday.

Already the head coach for the team, Keenan will have lots on his plate after Vladimir Krechin was fired. He will remain behind the bench and also run management.

Hopefully for him, the rest of the season will get much better.
