Vegas Golden Knights head coach Gerard Gallant spoke earlier this afternoon about who will be in and out of his lineup tonight against the Vancouver Canucks.

Brendan Leipsic will draw in up front in place of Will Carrier while Jon Merrill will be replaced by Shea Theodore on the back end.

Carrier has been a mainstay of the lineup, dressing for 16 games to Leipsic's 9.

Carrier has a mere goal and assist in that span, while Leipsic has already put up 4 assists.

Merrill has only played 4 games to Theodore's 3. With the abundance of defensemen, they've been on the outs while George McPhee figures out what to with the surplus.

There was some concern Maxime Lagace wouldn't be good to go tonight, but Gallant confirmed his presence between the pipes. Malcolm Subban also practiced with the team and appears close to a return.
