Last weekend represented old-school hockey for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Vancouver Canucks.

On Saturday night, Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri hit the Canucks’ Daniel Sedin with what remains to be a controversial body check. Many argue that it was a blind-side hit in which Kadri’s shoulder made contact with Sedin’s head, but the Department of Player Safety opted not to hold a hearing or discipline Kadri any further. He was assessed a charging penalty, and nothing more.

What ensued after the check was a sight to behold, as many players began fighting each other including Canucks goaltender Ryan Miller and Frederik Andersen of the Leafs, who were essentially keeping each other away from the scrap.

After the dust had settled, both goaltenders were seen having a chat of sorts, though it’s unclear what was being said.

Minutes ago, Andersen took to Hockey Central NOW and shined a (hilarious) light on his conversation with Miller:
