The Montreal Canadiens are kicking off the season tomorrow against the Sabres in Buffalo, and Victor Mete will make the trip... and he should get used to it.
On Wednesday, Habs head coach Claude Julien confirmed that he plans on having the young defenseman in his lineup for the full season.
Habs fans and experts believe the Canadiens would take the 9-game allowed period to see if the rookie is a fit and can work well with his défensive partner Shea Weber.
But obviously, Julien and GM Marc Bergevin are already sure the kid has what it takes.
With such a bold statement, Mete will quickly find himself under the microscope.
