The Montreal Canadiens have some big business to take care of this summer, and among the items at the top of their list is the future of Russian star Alexander Radulov.

When Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin signed him last summer, it was by all accounts a big gable, and that gamble proved to pay big dividends for the Canadiens organization. With that in mind it's no surprise to learn they want to bring him back, but it's going to cost them.

Sportsnet insider Eric Engels is reporting that the contract negotiations between both sides remain ongoing, and it seems both parties believe there is a deal to be made here, however the price may be playing a big factor.

According to Engels, the deal would be a 4 or 5 year contract, and one that carries an average annual value of $6-6.5 million per season, a big time hit against the salary cap for a team that has to re-sign Carey Price this summer.
