Defenseman Michel Rozsival wants to return for a 17th season in the National Hockey League, but things are not looking good for now.

Rozsival did not pass his physical at the start of training camp on Friday and is not able to participate at this time, according to general manager Stan Bowman.

It has been revealed that the 39-year-old is still dealing with post-concussion symptoms, after he was sucker-punched by Anaheim Ducks' Nick Ritchie this past spring. The blue liner needed surgery to repair injuries to his face.

In 963 NHL career games, Rozsival has been a part of two Stanley Cup winning teams with the Blackhawks and recorded 309 points.
