Report: Hextall has made a decision on Provorov & Konecny.

There is some big news in Flyers land today.

According to a report from Broad Street Hockey general manager Ron Hextall has made a difficult decision and will be keeping both defenseman Ivan Provorov as well as forward Travis Konecny on the Flyers roster for the 2016-2017 National Hockey League season.

While both players are very young, both 19 years of age, there's no doubt that both men earned their roster spots with consistently impressive performances in the preseaosn, so good in fact that it could be argued they were two of the best Flyers on the ice in the preseason at different times.

Last season fans in Philadelphia were treated to the ascension of Shayne Gostisbehere, and it looks like the organization may be in store for yet another exciting season this year.
