As Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal reported, injured forward Leon Draisaitl skated alone before the Edmonton Oilers morning skate on Tuesday. The German youngster is still on the injury list after the team announced he was dealing with concussion symptoms following what was believed to be an eye injury that occured last week.
Draisaitl won’t play tonight when the Oilers will face the Carolina Hurricanes, but he will maybe travel with the team in Chicago on Thursday. He’s not back in action yet, but it’s still good news that he’s able to skate. The Oilers are also dealing with the injury of Drake Caggiula at the moment.
