Report: Jagr set to make history with Flames

Future Hall-of-Famer Jaromir Jagr will make his debut in a Calgary Flames jersey tonight as the Flames take on the Los Angeles Kings from Staples Center in LA.

After months of speculation and “will he or won’t he?” stories from the media, Jagr will FINALLY make his return to the NHL this evening. He’ll also make history by skating for a Canadian team for the first time in his illustrious career.

The 45-year-old veteran is expected to line up alongside Sam Bennett and Kris Versteeg on the team’s 3rd line, but of course that’s all up to head coach Glen Gulutzan.

Regardless of where he plays in the lineup, Flames fans are sure to be jacked to see the living legend on the ice tonight.
