The Jets could have a real gem here

Dylan Samberg was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2nd round of the 2017 NHL draft, and has not been discussed much compared to other Jets prospects such as Logan Stanley and Kristian Vesalainen. That should and will change as Samberg was impressive at the recent World Junior Summer Showcase for USA.

Ryan Kennedy from the Hockey News is reporting that if the Jets give Samberg the time that is needed to develop, they could have a solid force on their blue line in the next couple of years.

"A solid defender, Samberg was kind of an unknown soldier (same with Edmonton pick Phil Kemp), but I liked his game nonetheless"- Ryan Kennedy
