The Jets got an encouraging piece of news this morning as the team welcomed Mathieu Perreault back to practice following the All-Star break. The forward suffered an upper-body injury on a vicious cross-check delivered by Dan Carcillo of the Chicago Blackhawks on Jan. 16. Carcillo was suspended six games for the incident. Perreault had recorded six goals and four assists in eight January games. The Jets originally thought Perrault had torn a ligament in his arm, so him being at practice already is very encouraging.
