Report: Kings lose their star forward to injury.

The Los Angeles Kings have hit a bit of a bump in the road and will have to make due without their star player for a little while.

The Kings did not share very many details about the injury, but what we do know is that star forward Anze Kopitar left the Kings match up against the St. Louis Blues during the first period with what has been called a lower-body injury.

As for how long Kopitar will be out of the line up, the Kings were pressed on that topic but refused to give any clarification, and according to Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times the Kings did not make Kopitar available to the media.

However Dillman did mention that the Kings have listed Kopitar as day to day.
