Report: Kings sign one of the top free-agent scorers in the country.

The Los Angeles Kings did some major house cleaning after the end of the regular season, but their new leadership is already looking towards the future.

According to theBuffalo News on Monday the new Los Angeles Kings management team made official the signing of Alex Iafallo, the number 12 ranked scorer in the country, to an entry level NHL country.

Iafallo is coming off a big season with the University of Minnesota-Duluth, one that saw him put up nearly 30 more points than he did in his previous season, this despite playing in just two additional games.

Iafallo initially went undrafted, but it appears that his breakout season caught the attention of at least one NHL team.
