The seemingly never-ending list of injuries for the Boston Bruins continues to grow as easier today Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed that defenseman Tory Krug will miss tonight’s game against the Winnipeg Jets with an upper body injury.

Krug did not practice yesterday and reportedly was not feeling well after taking a hard hit earlier this week in the team’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

As a result the Bruins have recalled 23 year old blue liner Connor Clifton from the Providence Bruins.

The Bruins have recalled Boston College product Paul Carey from the Providence on an emergency basis. Carey, who plays wing, will get a shot alongside centre David Krejci, according to Cassidy. "We'll find out what he's most comfortable with, right, left wing. I'm sure he'll get a look with [David] Krejci. If not, it's [Trent] Frederic. And maybe he's played with Frederic down there and they have some chemistry. Those are some things we'll talk about when he gets here."
