After a lot of Leafs fans got very excited about the news of Nylander's coming to North America this morning, the hype bubble has been burst. Leafs Assistant General Manager Kyle Dubas is the man who delivered the bad news to Leafs Nation today when
"We need to be patient with William," Dubas said. "Our entire organization fully understands that now each day and every time he has a good game there will be questions asked. "We really need to do what's best for these players and their development and not just make a splash by calling them up when they've had short-term success (at the AHL level)," Dubas continued. "(We want to) bring them up when they're ready to play in the NHL and sustain a solid level of play in the NHL for the duration."None the less, we look forward to seeing him adapt to the more physical North American game in the AHL.
Confrimed Leafs are recalling William Nylander. But they are recalling him to Marlies to start playing North Ameirican game.

Like Connor Brown, plan with William Nylander is not to recall him to the NHL this season, regardless of injuries to Leafs.

Leafs have no intention of recalling Nylander. Plan is to continue his development with Marlies.
