It's been over thirty years since Toronto Maple Leafs legend Darryl Sittler last played in the National Hockey League, and even longer still since he laced up the skates for the Maple Leafs, but he's still adding to his trophy case.

On Tuesday the Maple Leafs organization announced through their social media platform that the former Leafs great would be eternally enshrined as a member of Canada's Walk of Fame along with the rest of the class of 2016.

There are seven in total who will join the Walk of Fame, alongside Sittler will be television personality Jeanne Beker, singer Corey Hart, film director Deepa Mehta, actor Jason Priestley, actor Al Waxman and country music singer Brett Kisell.

Congratulations to the entire class of 2016.
