A goalie swap from the Leafs.

The Toronto Maple Leafs made a goalie swap on Friday.

According to a report from James Mirtle in the Athletic the Leafs have called up Jhonas Enroth and sent rookie goaltender Antoine Bibeau back down to the Toronto Marlies. Leaf fans won't be thrilled to see Enroth back in the line up after his poor start to the season and it looks like he may be sticking around after all.

The Leafs signed veteran goaltender Karri Ramo to a tryout likely hoping that he could come in and provide more solid goaltending than Enorth, but the Ramo experiment in the American Hockey League has been a big bust thus far. Ramo has posted a 3.80 goals against average and an .880 save percentage over three games and those aren't the kind of numbers that get you an NHL deal.

Certainly not an ideal situation for the Leafs at the moment.
