Report: Longer absence for Krejci
Keystone Press

Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed what many fans feared on Friday. Forward David Krejci, who was absent from the last two contests because of a nagging back problem, will be out longer than first anticipated.

Krejci will miss the next game against the Los Angeles Kings, and will most likely be out on Monday as well against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Since he became a regular NHLer in 2008-2009, Krejci has missed 51 games, an average of 5.6 games a season, in most part due to injuries.

Back in 2015, he tore his MCL and missed more than 30 games.

Let's hope this absence does not last as long...
