Report: Maple Leafs may be looking to make yet another goaltending trade.

The Toronto Maple Leafs bailed out of the Jonathan Bernier experiment when they dealt him to the Anaheim Ducks earlier this month, but it sounds like the Leafs aren't prepared to move forward with their current goaltending line up of Frederik Andersen and Garret Sparks.

According to comments made from Leafs' head coach Mike Babcock, the organization is hoping to acquire a solid back up for their goaltender of the future.

"Now we have to find a good pro to come in and support him, and we'll do that," Babcock said as per NHL.com.

Babcock likely intends to find a quality veteran to fill that role, a role that Bernier despite his large price tag could not fill. It's unclear how the Leafs plan to make this acquisition but a trade would appear to be the most likely scenario as the number of NHL level, veteran, free agent goaltenders is limited.
