The NHL has officially confirmed that the Eastern Conference Final between the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes will get underway tomorrow evening from TD Garden in Boston. The rest of the series schedule will be released once the Western Conference Final is determined following tonight’s Game 7 matchup between the San Jose Sharks and Colorado Avalanche.
In the meantime though, Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy put his team through their paces at practice this morning and was forced to juggle his lineup due to defenseman Charlie McAvoy’s one game suspension.
Here’s how the B’s are expected to line up for Game 1:
Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - David Pastrnak
Jake DeBrusk - David Krejci - David Backes
Marcus Johansson - Charlie Coyle - Danton Heinen
Joakim Nordstrom - Sean Kuraly - Chris Wagner
Zdeno Chara - Connor Clifton
Torey Krug - Brandon Carlo
Matt Grzelcyk - Steven Kampfer
Tuukka Rask
Jaroslav Halak
"It's between [Kampfer] and John Moore, we have to make that decision," Cassidy said to reporters when asked who will replace McAvoy.
"I think you're gonna see some different combinations tomorrow depending on the circumstance."
Puck drops at 7pm ET. Let’s go, boys!
