Report: More bad injury news for Price

The Montreal Canadiens officially announced this morning that superstar goaltender Carey Price will NOT travel with the team to Florida for their upcoming road trip this week.

The team plays the Florida Panthers tomorrow evening and the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday evening.

Despite having a few tough seasons due to injury lately, Price has been relatively healthy this season. The 31 year old netminder has 15 wins in 30 starts, a 2.84 goals against average and a .904 save percentage.

No word yet on the severity of Price’s injury or how long he’s expected to miss.
