The Washington Capitals may play their final season at Verizon Center in 2017-18. No, they’re not moving, but if one report is to be believed, the building will be renamed Capital One Center in 2018-19.

According to a report from Andrew Allemann of Domain Name Wire, the financial corporation has secured several online domains that indicate it may soon be taking over the building’s name rights. Verizon’s agreement expires at the end of this upcoming season.

For what it’s worth, the building was first known as MCI Center before Verizon acquired naming rights in 2006.
