“When your fan base turns on you, watch out.”

Things are getting ugly in Montreal and not just on the ice. The Montreal Canadiens have won only one of their first four games, the first against the Buffalo Sabres in a shootout, and according to Brendan Kelly of the Gazette, fans are more than fed up.

The Canadiens have four goals after four games. The Jonathan Drouin trade was a promising one, but fans are still hoping the young forward will start collecting goals. Now, there is the Mark Streit fiasco and the constant question mark surrounding forward Alex Galchenyuk and his relationship with management. And this is just this season.

Things were positive last year, until coach Michel Therrien was fired, Alex Radulov signed with the Dallas Stars and veteran and longest serving Hab of the modern era Andrei Markov left for Russia without being asked to return to Montreal.

Things are piling up and fans have had enough. As the season starts, less and less tickets are being sold at the Bell Center and fans are starting to point the finger at GM Marc Bergevin.

"Many feel Bergevin and his colleagues simply don’t care what the fans think or how they feel. And that’s a dangerous path to go down.

When your fan base turns on you, watch out."

Yes Canadiens, you better watch out...
