Report: NHL to investigate “inexcusable and potentially dangerous” arena conditions.

The National Hockey League has finally taken notice of the terrible ice conditions at the Barclays Center, and it seems they have taken notice in a big way.

According to Islanders' reporter Chris Botta, the National Hockey League has sent experts to investigate the situation, or has he call it "the brutal Barclays ice."

Botta had previously commented on the situation at Barclays, and he believes that the only solution is to rip up the floor and change the piping beneath the surface of the ice. To make matters worse he pointed to the fact that arena management has known this for some time, and has refused to make the changes to what he calls an "inexcusable" and even added that it was a "potentially dangerous" playing surface.

With all that being said, it's no surprise the Islanders are already rumored to be looking for a new place to play.
