This just in according to a report from TSN hockey insider Darren Dreger, the NHL will push back the June 1st deadline for teams to sign their unsigned prospects.

Typically, teams have until June 1st to sign their unsigned draft selections or they risk losing them to unrestricted free agency. With these expected changes to the rules from the NHL, teams will have an additional month to negotiate with any players in this situation.
