Report: Nylander may be injured

Auston Matthews hasn't skated since last monday against the Vegas Golden Knights.

There's some potentially disconcerting news involving two other key players to the team.

Here are the lines that the Leafs rolled at practice this morning.

Tyler Bozak is missing from practice, and most notably - William Nylander is also not on the ice. Matthews has now been off the ice for a week.

Roman Polak skated in the top six up front due to the shortage of forwards - obviously he will not play there in game action.

Mark Masters reported that there is no explanation for their absences as of yet, and that Mike Babcock will provide an update following practice.

If Nylander is injured along with Matthews, the Leafs will have to buckle up to make up for the loss of their two best forwards.
