The Edmonton Oilers haven't made any trades yet today but they are conducting business of a different kind.
According to multiple reports the Oilers have announced two signings today, first defenseman Brandon Davidson has reportedly signed a two year extension, worth an average annual value of $1.425 million per season.
Also according to a report from TSN hockey insider Bob McKenzie the Oilers have also signed goaltender Laurent Brossoit to a two year deal, although the financials of this contract were not revealed. McKenzie has also reported that this will be a one way deal.
