According to a report from Edmonton Oilers play by play man Jack Michaels, Jesse Puljujarvi will make his return to the team’s lineup when they face off against the Chicago Blackhawks later tonight.

Check it out:

EDM vs CHI:
Looks like Caggiula remains on top line, as Rattie won’t play. Puljujärvi back in w/Lucic & Strome, Yamamoto likely to sit.
D-pairs remain the same.
It appears that rookie Kailer Yamamoto will be the odd man out and will be forced to watch from the press box this evening.

Puljujarvi, who was been outplayed by rookie Kailer Yamamoto early on in the season, has been scratched for the Oilers’ past four games and has just one goal in seven games this season. The 20 year old former 4th overall pick from the 2016 NHL Entry Draft has had a couple up and down seasons to begin his NHL career, but the Oilers are hopeful that he can cement himself as a regular contributor this season. In fact, the team’s playoff chances may rely on it, considering their woeful depth on the wing.

Puck drop is 7pm tonight at Rogers Place in downtown Edmonton. Let’s go, boys!
