Report: P.K. Subban will miss more games as a result of his injury.

The impressive iron-man streak of Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban has come to an end, for the first time in his National Hockey League career he missed a game as a result of an injury when he sat out this past Saturday's match up against the Minnesota Wild. Now it appears he will miss several more.

According to comments made by Canadiens head coach Michel Therrien on Monday, Subban's status going forward is day to day, and while Therrien would not give any kind of specific timetable for Subban's return, he did reveal that the Habs star defenseman would miss at least the next two games.

Montreal plays back to back games this week, facing the Florida Panthers on Tuesday and the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday, so Subban missing the next two games isn't the end of the world. Whether or not he plays on Saturday when the Habs face the Senators however will likely be an indicator of just how bad he's hurting at the moment.

Remember this is a player who had previously never missed a game due to injury.
