The Minnesota Wild have their season opener tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets, and although star forward Zach Parise won't be in uniform for it, he is almost ready to make a return.
Head coach Bruce Boudreau said to The Athletic that Parise has been skating and is feeling good. The hope is that Parise will be able to rejoin the Wild for practice on Monday.
“All things go well, hopefully he’ll be ready to play by next weekend,” Boudreau said.
Good news for Wild fans who have been awaiting Parise's return.
